Our working space adjacent to the geenhouse

The two students have been out fetching soil for planting purposes.
In the greenhouse corridor all the practical work with the different plant cultures takes place.

  1. Hello Froken

Why is it called a Greenhouse? In my experience a greenhouse is made of glass. I worked in Norway for a year in African Violet and carnation greenhouses. The potting shed was the only one that wasn't made of glass. Although there was a section in between two greenhouses that was not made of glass - is that the case in your photo?

    1. Hello again
In swedish we call it the greenhouse-corridor because this is the working space adjacent to the greenhouses, which are situated 90 degrees to the right in the picture. I think we use this corridor in the same manner as you used the potting shed.
I am exited to hear that you have been working with plants in greenhouses. Are you also teaching topics concerning Gardening?
